Duval was chief winemaker at Penfold's for 16 years. After leaving in 2002 he set up a boutique winery with just two wines - a Shiraz and this Shiraz-Grenache-Mourvèdre blend. The nose is closed but it opens up on the palate with elegant, ripe fruit and freshness. Drink up to 2013. £16.95
