Delicate aromas of apricot pit, lemon zest and toasted pine nuts. The palate offers very good depth and a velvety texture to the subtle papaya flavor, with a low-keyed saltiness adding nuance. A lovely kabinett with an appealing finish.

This is firm and taut, with flavors of litchi, pink grapefruit and fresh pear. The acidity elongates the flavors on the finish, complemented by a stony minerality.

A happy marriage of deep, luscious peach fruit, slate-tinged minerality and a balanced injection of sharp acidity. This is the kind of Riesling that Rheingau lovers crave!

The 2002 Riesling Kabinett Johannisberg "V" is good. Its stone-laden aromatics lead to a light to medium-bodied, pure flavor profile composed of minerals and tangy quinine. Projected maturity: now-2008.
