Prum wines are among the most exciting and delicious Riesling wines of the middle Mosel. They have a reputation for being long-lived because if their slow development - something that may sound like a fault but is, in fact, something desirable. Full of pure stone fruits with a slate-mineral driven finish.
This proprietary Kabinett combines fruit from Bernkasatel and Graach. A pungent cassis leaf note in the nose leads to bright, elegant and easy-to-appreciate citrus, apple and cassis flavors in the mouth.
The J.J. Prüm wines have a reputation for being very long-lived, and Dr. Prüm suggests that even his Kabinett wines be cellared for five years. This is no exception. Rich petrol and resounding mineral on the nose give way to beautiful apple and pear balanced by amazing acidity. Never think twice about picking a Prüm!
