2003 Dillian Ranch Zinfandel – Amador County
The 2003 vintage was a relatively late year, especially in the foothills of Amador County. With our patience
to wait to harvest until optimum ripeness, we experienced long hang time of fruit on the vines and low
yields. The Dillian vineyard once again produced fruit with richness, extract, and elegance. This 2003 Zinfandel
exhibits rich blackberry, dried plum, as well as bright cherry and spice aromas. Up front the wine is
full-bodied with sweet tannins on the palette, juicy fruit and mocha fl avors. The fi nish is long read more...and elegant,
and lingers only long enough to want more!
