Joel Gott Sauvignon Blanc Calif 2011
This Joel Gott has notes of lemon and lime on the nose. In the mouth there are copious amounts lemon zest and lime that later open up into slight honey notes. This wine tastes like it has been oaked, however it is 100% stainless. A very chardonnay-like, strong, tangy finish, Good for a California Sauv Blanc, which are not my favorite.
Food Pairings for Joel Gott Sauvignon Blanc Calif
The 2011 Joel Gott Sauvignon Blanc has bright aromas of Meyer lemon and key lime balanced, and made more complex, by notes of passionfruit and honeysuckle. The wine is round on the palate with mouth-watering acidity and a light, refreshing finish.
