7 ha Vineyard of Michel Rolland and a product of his philosophies. 30+ year old Merlot vines grown on Pomerol's gravelly clay soils are combined with a touch of equally aged Cabernet Franc. In Rolland's hands, we have a modern wine, matured in 100% new oak, exhibiting ripe black fruit on the nose, though the spicy mocha notes dominate. Rounded tannins and delinieated acidity.
