- Ripe, spicy and distinctive for its jazzy floral, peppery notes that weave through the solid blackberry and anise flavors. It all lingers impressively on the polished, generous finish. You could fill your pen with this stuff, it's that dark. Aromas of blackcherry marmalade, cassis and white chocolate, young and fresh. In the mouth, it's massive andripe, yet balanced and harmonious, with perkyacids and caressing tannins. -Wine Enthusist, December 2002
