Deep purple red colour, the bouquet of ark berries and herbsneeds some time to come out and is not very powerful. What's powerful is the tannins which are still very strong, even if this bottle is in my cellar since some years.. Not an extremely complex wine, the wood aging is very strong. I supposethis is quite common for Cannonau Riserva wines. Nice pairing to aged cheeses and game.
