More transparent in every way than most. Broad, confident, well balanced - tasted savoury. Really interesting.
Producer notes: "Also produced from grapes from Bet Shemesh, Jerusalem Heights is a sophisticated blend of 50 percent Cabernet Sauvignon and 50 percent Merlot grown at high elevation (950 meters) in the mountains surrounding Jerusalem. Aged for 18 months in new French and American Oak Barrels and then carefully brought together to produce one of Israel's most outstanding Bordeaux-inspired blends. Non-filtered. The wine features lush flavors of cherry, chocolate and black pepper with a finish of aromatic spices. Serve with grilled lamb, duck, prime ribs of beef, steak or veal chops. Non-Mevushal. Kosher."
