Reviews for Unknown Vintage
Very good wine. 19.5% alcohol by volume but very sweet. Has no burn at all a little dangerous actually in that you could drink alot of it and not realize how intoxicated you are getting.
At first sip, I thought it was a rather strong alcohol content as it did actually have a "burn" coupled with a sweet wine taste. My wife felt it was a little too sweet. Since it was New Year's Eve, I felt compelled to have yet another glass (read: let loose); upon further review, the sweetness actually counter-balances the burn and renders the wine rather smooth. But, as the previous post admonishes, this wine is very dangerous. I drank 4 glasses and I'm rather thankful I stayed at home for the New Year's Eve festivities! There's no way I could operate a motor vehicle (or heavy machinery) under the influence of this wine! I would recommend a glass or two (max) though. It's worth the $15 price tag for all you ocassional wine drinkers.
