Three and a half glasses
The 2006 is beginning to lose a little of its vivacity, few tannins remain and the fruit has mellowed, but it was still a really tasty wine and my first Jermann red wine. The nose had a nice dusty earthiness to it that followed the bouquet of soft plums and cherries. A really mellow ethereal mouthfeel that seemed to glide effortlessly. Delicate oak cloaks the fruit. Would love to try a younger vintage.
