Jermann Pinot Grigio 2016

Winemaker's Notes:

Jermann's Pinot Grigio has an intense straw-yellow color with a light nuance of antique rose. Its aroma is intense, full and fruity, with excellent persistence. Its taste is dry, velvety, and particularly well-orchestrated for its full body. It is paired with fish soups, chargrilled seafood and various dishes based on field mushrooms and porcini mushrooms.

Intense straw yellow with a delicate shade of rose; the bouquet is ample, fruity and intense, with excellent persistence. On the palate, full body, mellow and especially well balanced. Expected cellar life: 2-3 years.

Jermann s 2009 Red Angel opens with dark mysterious hints of tobacco dark cherries earthiness and incense. The wine fleshes out nicely on the mid-palate and finish as it continues to blossom with air. In this vintage the finish is especially round and polished. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2019 -AG Robert Parkers Wine Advocate.

The 2009 Pinot Grigio shows lovely richness and roundness in layers of generous, perfumed fruit that flow through nicely to the nuanced finish. In 2009 the Pinot Grigio is the best of the entry-level whites. Anticipated maturity: 2011ndash;2013.

Herersquo;s a full-bodied Pinot Grigio with pretty aromatic layers of peach, citrus and honeydew melon that are presented over a polished, fresh mouthfeel. Try this delicious wine with spicy Thai or Indian dishes.
