Jenner is a neat little town on the Sonoma Coast at the mouth of the Russian River. According to the back label, this winery is actually located in Cloverdale--about as far from Jenner as you can be and still be in Sonoma County. The wine is a quite pale yellow in the glass. Some apricot/peach on the nose. Quite light on the palate, some lemon flavor. With lemon comes salivating acid.. There are no winemaker's notes, but I suspect this wine was steel fermented. I taste no oak. It is a very refreshing wine. We are going to have grilled Cornish Game Hens for dinner, tonight. I think this might go well with the delicate-flavored hens. US$19.99 at Total Wines
