Jelu Pinot Noir Patagonia Argentina 2007

Winemaker's Notes:

The Patagonia region of Argentina is known for its world-class outdoor adventures. Little do most people know however that it also has the perfect climate for growing the capricious Pinot Noir grape

Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Layered Rice Pudding

RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.

Medium red in color. The nose shows sweet blueberry and plum aromas with a hint of wild thyme. Juicy plum and mulberry flavors are balanced by fresh acidity with rich mineral notes.

The Patagonia region of Argentina is known for its world-class outdoor adventures. Little do most people know, however, that it also has the perfect climate for growing the capricious Pinot Noir grape. Jelu Pinot Noir is a hearty red wine, medium-bodied with wild raspberries and black cherries on the palate, and it will be just delicious tonight with a hearty meat dish.
