Jefferson Vineyards Chardonnay Monticello 2009
Winery is founded in 1773. Thomas Jefferson and Mazzrei started with 400 acres, they planted vineyard on a very good land for wine production...Now, there is 20 acres of vineyards that produce award-winning wines!
This is a delightful Chardonnay, especially for anyone that is tired of drinking the typical "Californian" Chardonnay's that are over-done. This white is a beautiful blend of crisp, clean flavors, that do not "coat" the palate, but refresh the taste buds. The 2006 & 2008 vintages are phenomenally prefect, and would be comparable to any traditional French Chardonnay. Great paired with a full meal, appetizers, or a fruit & cheese plate.
