Champagne Moutard is a traditional family run business situated in the picturesque village of Buxeuil, France. The vineyards are located in the southern part of Champagne, on the sunny slopes of the Cotes des Bar. Very old cellar books relate their activity as vine growers back to the 17th century. Region: France / Champagne / Eau de Vie Maker : Francois Moutard Notes : Abundance of ripe dark fruit on the nose with intense expressions of prunes on the palate, with a rich, long aftertaste. ABV : 45%

The Gato Negro Cab Sav has a nice spicinesses with cherry and plum flavours. The tannins are still quite prominent so I expect that aging it a couple of years would be beneficial. I liked this wine,
