Jean Paul et Jean Luc Jamet Cote Rotie 2000

Winemaker's Notes:

Wine Advocate #147 (Jun 2003) The 2000 Cote Rotie is a full-throttle, slightly monolithic, but dense, chewy offering possessing a deep ruby/purple color in addition to big, meaty, herb-tinged, cassis, blackberry, smoky flavors with underlying notes of dried herbs and tar. Surprisingly muscular and dense, it is one of the few 2000 Cote Roties that will require 2-3 years of cellaring. It should last for 12-15 years. Parker-90pts.
