Production Area: Single vineyard site of granite terraces from the northern part of the Rhone Valley.Grape Varieties: 100% SyrahVinification: Grapes are picked manually and follow a classic fermentation. After a long maceration the wine is aged for more than 12 months in new or one-year-old oak barrels. The wine is fined just before bottling. Description: Bouquet - Full-bodied and concentrated, with aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, spices and mocha. Taste - An intense wine with a complex structure that will age well for 10-15 years.Serving Suggestions: Great with barbecues, grilled meat and game.

I tried this wine for the first time whilst on a business trip in Zurich. It had a dark ruby, if not purple colour to it and tasted of darker fruits, with a hint of liquorice. Dry tannins characterised the finish.

Another review I read of this wine described it as a "very modern, full-on wine". I'd agree and, despite knowning nothing about the wine ahead of time, I was more than pleasantly surprised and would definitely search around for it again.
