Like an elegant Pinot Noir, with bubbles. Has the classic cherry, spice and earth flavors of Pinot, with the lively, exuberant texture of Champagne. Shows real character and length. Drink now through 2000.
Revealing even more of a chalky/mineral character along with notes of wheat thins and citrus is the elegant non-vintage Brut Blanc de Blancs (disgorged October 2003 after spending five years on its lees). This is an impressive, fuller-bodied offering than most wines of this genre. Still young and impressively endowed, it can be drunk now and over the next 5–7 years.
Lovely harmony and texture in this elegant, intensely flavored blanc de blancs. Floral, citrus and mineral notes ride the firm structure, leaving a lingering aftertaste of honey and candied fruit. Distinctive. Drink now through 2005.
A vinous style, featuring forward fruit notes of black cherry coulis and crème de cassis, with a firm framework and juicy acidity backing toasted raisin bread, almond skin and grilled plum flavors. The spicy finish persists. Drink now through 2018.
Bright acidity and detailed texture frames rich flavors of date, candied orange peel, dried apricot, graham cracker and almond cream in this seamlessly integrated, vibrant Blanc de Blancs. A wine drinker’s Champagne. Drink now through 2018.
Tasty. Aromas and flavors of marmalade, peach and an exotic, tropical note mark this distinctive, elegant Blanc de Blancs. Dense and firm, with a compact quality and a tactile finish. Drink now through 2005.
