- Deep ruby-red. Penetrating aromas of raspberry, violet, minerals and cocoa powder. Juicy, sweet and dense; harmonious from the outset. Rather gently styled for this wine, but the longest of these '97s. Finishes with suave, very fine tannins. Also tasted: Cote de Nuits-Villages Vignottes, Nuits-Saint-Georges Fleurieres*, Chambolle-Musigny*.
