Jean-François Mérieau Touraine Cent Visages 2007

Member Review by Christy Canterbury MW:

This wine is très lean. At 12.5% alcohol, it's hardly a mainstream Malbec (Cot, in the Loire). That's okay, as long as that's what you expect. The fruit is fully ripe and shows tart blackberry, blueberry and loads of underbrush. Fragrant and bursting at the seams with vibrant acidity, it definitely shows its cool climate provenance.
