What to Expect
Pinot Noir: Responsible for some of the greatest wines on earth - the exhausted red wines of France's Burgundy region. Pinot Noir is a notoriously fickle grape that expresses its origins like no other. Rating: 17/20 - As reviewed by Jancis Robinson Deep purple ruby with wide rim. Lovely complex spiced red fruit nose, even fruit cake, but not raisined. Herbs and cedar. Rich juicy chewy fruit with great acidity and concentratration to sustain a long finish. Spicy restrained oak. Beautifully melded already.

Rating: 18/20 - As reviewed by Jancis Robinson Tranlucent cherry red. Creamy vanilla cassis and peppery spice on the nose. Sweet spiciness of oak and firmer tannins make this a bigger wine - seems more than 20% new oak but apparently is not. Rich but with a lightness of touch that surprises on the finish. Rounded, whole and great finesse.
