Jean Claude Bachelet et Fils Saint Aubin Premier Cru Vieilles Vignes 2007

Winemaker's Notes:

This is a lovely, fresh, mineral Burgundy, cherry scented with a touch of
strawberry too. Ideal for spring drinking with lighter dishes. Affordable and
of excellent pedigree from one of the top Côte de Beaune producers, this
is a real pleasure to drink.

Jean-Baptiste and Benoit Bachelet are the primary wine-makers at the family domaine, which has been making wine since the early 17th century. This Premier Cru from 50 year old vines is ripe with juicy red and dark fruits, with a touch of mineral and black tea tannin on the end. A beautiful expression from the Saint-Aubin.
