Jean Bourdy Jura Blanc 2005
External Review by Astor Wines & Spirits:
Lighter in color than many other Jura whites, this Chardonnay offers hazelnut and walnut skins on the nose and a bright, lingering finish.

Jean Bourdy:
The Bourdy family have been making wine around the village of Arlay in the Jura region since at least 1475 making it one of the oldest operating wineries in the world. It is now run by brothers Jean-Franscois and Jean-Philippe.Not surprisingly it is a domaine steeped in tradition although it has been biodynamic since 2005. There are 10 hectares under vine and a range of red, white and sparkling Jura wines are produced.
