Winemaker's Notes:

Rueda is the oldest appelation in the Castilla y Leon region, producing stunning white wines. The Verdejo grape is the most well known of the native varieties and has been creating a great following and reputation in recent years. The Viura is the grape used for Cava and white Riojas Javier Sanz's family have been growing fine wines for four generations and it was his Great Grandmother who first cultivated vines in their Villa Narcisa estate in La Seca. Their wines are considered to be the most prestigious of the appellation and often win numerous international awards Vintage: 2009 Grapes: 50% Viura and 50% Verdejo Region: Rueda, Spain Notes: Lemony yellow straw colour , clean and bright. A Complex nose, with immediate green apple fruit and anisey scents. Followed by a touch of tropical fruits in an attractive procession with punchy mineral echoes. ABV: 13% Serve: Paella, fish dishes and white meats
