Jaugueyron Margaux # 2009

Winemaker's Notes:

Wine Advocate Review
Rated 92
The 2009 Clos du Jaugueyron Margaux is 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc, but the production is tiny, as they have virtually no land in the Margaux appellation. I will keep my notes short, but this wine is outstanding, with lots of violets interwoven with blueberry, raspberry and black currant fruit that is lush, succulent and full-bodied. Drink it over the next 10-15 years.

Wine Tasting Notes
The vintage is dense in color, retaining a purplish-blue hint typical of wines that are slow to develop. Chewy and rich, with dried fruits and fresh herbs. Full and chewy.
