Januik Winery Columbia Valley Red 2006

Member Review by william344:

Delicious fruit forward taste.... lots of sweetness on the front, but enough oak to balance it out and make it a great taste. A little overly bitter on the sides of the tounge. A bit sour on the back of the toung, but not acidic... just not perfectly smooth finish. Wonderful oak flavor on the exhaust. All in all, a GREAT wine. Comperable with other good 16-19$ bottles.

1/09 - tasting at the winery. Better than the 2005 Novelty Hill Red Wine (earlier in the flight)
