Jam Cellars Red Blend 2009

External Review by We Speak Wine:

Generous aromas of luscious red berry are complemented by a subtle undertone of clove and cinnamon. The rich, luxurious palate reveals fresh raspberry flavors and savory, supple tannins with a hint of toasty oak and bright, lively acidity to add balance. The vibrant fruit mellows on the finish, leaving a lingering hint of silky dark chocolate. An indulgent pleasure for the senses, this wine is effortless to enjoy! - Winery

Jam Cellars:
Jam Cellars is the wine brand from John Anthony Truchard and his wife, Michelle, out of the Napa Valley, California. The name is both a combination of the first names of the married winemakers, but also describes the overall style of the value-driven, fruity, some say almost “dessert-like” wines. Truchard is the son of Carneros wine pioneers Tony and JoAnn Truchard. John Anthony Truchard started Jam in 2003.
