The famous flagship of Jaillance. This Muscat is slightly sweet with an extremely soft mousse.

Love this because the carbonation is not as intense as other sparkling wines. I detected a chalkiness and strawberry jam in the bouquet. Upon tasting, I sensed notes of sourness, peach, minerals and white grapes.

Wonderful aroma of peaches. Very fun sparkler, great for brunch. Not too sweet, lovely peach and pear flavors.

A fine lively foam forms a neat ring at the head. The wine is an attractive pale yellow. Nose and flavor are fine and sustained, with a subtle bouquet of oriental fruits and white flowers. The taste is balanced. The clear yet delicate impression at tasting confirms the central place of this wine in the Appellation.

I've always been a huge fan of the holiday season, for no other reason than because it provides me the opportunity to recommend an abundance of my favorite type of wine — bubbly! One that never fails to excite me is the Jaillance Crémant de Bordeaux. Comprised of 100% Sèmillon (the grape made famous by the region’s renowned dessert wine, Sauternes), this French sparkler combines bright lemon and green apple fruit notes with soft toast and hints of almonds. Although I recognize that most people purchase sparkling wines for parties and toasts, don't forget that these wines are awesome with dinner too; try this one with veal scallopine, sushi or smoked salmon.

A toast… to the perfect bubble at a perfect price. Smells of dough and warm bread exude beautifully from the glass. This Sémillon cuvée displays touches of citrus, butter and even butterscotch. Certainly, this is a bottle worthy of any celebration. For such quality, at such a price, uncorking this bottle of bubbly is a celebration in itself… cheers!

Clean as a whistle, this fantastic substitute for Champagne is made from 100% Sèmillon and showcases this grapes earthy and honeyed tones. Crisp and dry, with mouthwatering green apple and persimmon flavors.

The Crémant de Bordeaux is brilliant pale yellow, with plentiful fine bubbles. The nose is fine and elegant, revealing hints of grapefruit in a vivacious whole. Other citrus aromas are revealed at tasting, along with a subtle touch of vegetable earthiness.
