Jada Vineyard Syrah Paso Robles Jersey Girl 2009

Member Review by EMark:

Pretty plum color. Some cherry fruit but a bit of viney stuff going on on the nose. Fruit hits hard on the tip of the tongue--again cherry with some blueberry hints. Fruit is followed by astringency on the tip of the tongue. Fairly substantial tannins. Quite a big wine. It just seems like a hot-weather wine. US$45.00 at the winery in Paso Robles in December.

Dark currents, smoke, leather, minerals, and nice tannins. Long smooth finish. Decadent with high alcohol content. Definitely a cocktail wine.
