Jacuzzi Primitivo Zinfandel 2004

Member Review by Onin24eagle:

Was hoping that this would not be past its prime and I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was not. Earthy, leathery nose but with bright raspberry and cherry on that palate. Good acidity, a little more tannin than I had expected. I had never tried Primitivo before and expected it to be similar to a zin. It is similar, but not the same. bigger tannins and a much longer finish. This stuff was so smooth it was dangerous. It would be easy to over-indulge. 3.5 rating.
