Smooth and jammy front to back.... in short yummy!
I bought this a couple of years ago, when I was considering Jacuzzi as the venue for my wedding. I ended up marrying elsewhere, but knew this 2006 was at the peak of its drinkability (now Aug 2010), so I cracked it open to pair with a prosciutto penne-tomato salad. I am loving it! Strong jammy/berry and what I thought was "smoke" on the nose (tasting notes say raspberry and tobacco). I've had it stored in a refrigerated wine storage unit until today, and I did a mini-decant with the soiree aerator. It's workin' for me as I type!
Just came back from Napa & liked Jacuzzi best! Esp. the Barbera, give it 4 glasses,Fruity, little dry, went great with a steak. Brought back a mixed case.
