Jackson-Triggs Shiraz Okanagan Valley Vqa Sunrock Vineyard 2006

Member Review by zufrieden:

This premium Shiraz from Jackson-Triggs was worth the wait and, apparently, the aging potential of these select wines is according to my prediction: 5-7 years from harvest. The wine is holding up well, but will likely decline in enjoyment potential in a couple of years, so drink up now or next year. More finesse and less power than an Oz and a bit less fruit core than a Côte-Rotie, but lots of cola, cherry, licorice, coffee and stewed plum. A declicious wine, but more for the aficionado than the punter. An excellent Canadian wine - one of the best.
