J Vineyards & Winery Brut Rosé 2004
Our J Brut Rosé sparkles with a vibrant pink salmon hue and offers layered aromas of fresh strawberries, raspberries, Fuji apple, rose petals and a savory swath of toasted hazelnuts. On the palate, an elegant mouthfeel combines with flavors of ripe raspberry, blood orange and blanched almonds underlined by lively acidity and steely minerality. I recommend pairing it with roasted beet and goat cheese salad, or a simple plate of smoked salmon canape and Cypress Grove Humboldt Fog cheese.
Editorial Reviews for J Vineyards & Winery Brut Rosé
Two to three years 12gr Strawberries and smoke greet the nose joined by earthy aromas and hints of cherry pie and minerals. This is quite powerful in the mouth with lots of raspberry and baked strawberry fruit, strawberry/rhubarb pie, a hint of herb, shortbread cookies and a little mineral. Holding its sugar very well, and showing firm mineral and dried berry fruit on the finish, this remains very very precise through the palate but lacks a little nuance and complexity. 89pts
