Very gentle on the nose with faint scents of earthy fruit, accented with a touch of white pepper. Rather restrained on entry though, with a nice core of strawberry fruit that’s framed with a hint of lightly pithy orange peel and some light, sweetly herbal suggestions. On the finish, this gains weight and turns more obviously fruity with a touch of sugar lending a sweet note to the finale. There’s not enough sweetness for most people to notice; but it's here, adding weight and roundness in the mouth. 85pts
