Food Pairings for J. Vidal Fleury Cote Rotie Cotes Blonde et Brune Syrah/Shiraz Rhone
A clear opaque garnet colored win with a pale garnet rim. Clean medium+ intensity herbaceous nose with toast, spice, baked cherry, mint, black olive, black pepper, leather, violet cassis and new oak aromas. Dry with medium+ acidity, medium alchohol, full-body, medium+ tannins (coarse and chewy), medium+ intensity flavors of blackberry, toast, leather, anise, black olives and wood. Medium+ length and a rich texture - the alcohol is integrated. A complex concentrated high-quality Syrah. It is still a bit young and can benefit from some more age.
