The 2005 growing season proved wonderful for Tempranillo as the grapes were harvested under ideal conditions in late October at 25-degrees Brix with perfect acids. The wine was fermented with 50% whole berries to elevate the beautiful fruit characteristics of the Tempranillo grape. After a two-week frementation, the wine was pressed into oak barrels with only 10% being new French oak.
