The quality began with an exceptional vintage that truly expresses Washington’s blend of old and new world charm, forward red and dark fruit wrapped with a dusty, earthy, minerality.

Vineyards sources were more carefully selected with a good portion of the fruit coming from our three best vineyards, Conner-Lee, the vineyard we have managed for nearly 25 years and the two Red Mountain Vineyards, Ciel du Cheval and Klipsun. Full of dark fruit, and the tannins stick around palpably even after it inhaled and exhaled in a glass for 30 minutes. It's an acceptable merlot, but a young, noisy one.
