RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.

Finally got to visit the winery after having a taste in San Diego! With a nose of toasty caramel and blackcurrant, this had layers of tannins, with juicy notes of dark red cherries, walnuts and cigar. Lingering finish of dark fruits. I would not call it smooth but this was enjoyable. Sounds pretty similar to 2009 except for the chocolate and cigar. Had this part of a local J.Bookwalter wine. Good toasty notes of brownies with plum, walnut and earthiness. This lush wine was well balanced with juicy fruitiness and hints of toasted nuts and chocolate. I would love to revisit! I did not realise I already had this before! It was amazing to find similarities in notes! For more on the tasting, please visit http://dionyshius.blogspot.com/2012/06/wine-encounter.html
Had this at a Washington tasting. Smells of burnt caramel and brownies, it was like going home! It was toasty with good balance of acid and tannins. Loved the ripe juicy berries with hints of smokiness and dark chocolate. Will definitely revisit! For more, please visit http://dionyshius.blogspot.com/2012/05/washingtons.html
One of our favorite cabs! Especially the 2008. Nice, big cab with a Velvet Chocolate finish. Very unique wine that makes me want to buy as much as I can find!!
if you are looking for a true tast of the northwest, this is the perfect wine, my only regret about purchasing this wine is that i only bought one.
2009 has more Cab vs. 2008 foreshadow. Still very good but could use a couple of years to age. Excellent value at 23.99 Costco.

"Due to the cool growing season in 2010 we judiciously blended in varieties that matured earlier in the season, like Merlot and Syrah, to enhance and lift the fruit and structure of our Cabernet sources. Both aromatically and on the palate, the wine displays a symphony of bright red fruits led by cherries and raspberries. This engaging fruit is surrounded by hints of sage, lavender, caramel, sandalwood, resin, black olive and the dusty savory herbs one comes to expect from our layered Cabernets. The wine enters the palate sweet and round, lingers on the finish with creamy fine-grained tannins, followed by the signature acidity of the vintage—a level of acidity that will certainly allow for greater aging potential for the wines of this substance. Recommended cellaring 6–12 years." -Winery
