- This estate sits in the heart of Tuscanys Chianti Classico region. Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Trebbiano and Malvasia are planted in vineyards averaging 16 years with a portion of 40 year-old vines. The owners feel that the potential for these traditional Chianti varietals has not yet been fully realized. This makes an unusually full-bodied Chianti, crafted to capture fruit and flavors of a young Chianti yet maintaining structure to improve with age
