Isabel Mondavi Cabernet Sauvignon Sonoma County Rosé 2010

Member Review by Kyle Graynor:

Very smooth, rich berries. The term deep rose makes sense when you taste it.

Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Coconut Rice Sweet Potato Cheesecake

RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.

This wine had a nice deep, rich color compared to other rose wines. It was strong and a little bubbly (CO2), tart and fruity at the end.

Smells a bit of artificial strawberry with a little yeast. Very sweet, full of berry flavor.

Bizarre use of cabernet grapes. Too Fruity and foamy for a real wine. Tastes like kool-aid with a kick. Best use of Mondavi name on a terrible wine. Must be nice to be a Mondavi and put out crap for the masses to drink. Save your money and skip it. T.Pollard

Captivating aromas of strawberry, cranberry and red apple fill the glass. Light-weight in the mouth with waves of bright red fruit that roll across the palate.
