Irony Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 2008
The Irony Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon opens with wonderfully fresh aromas of blackberry jam, plum and red licorice followed by delicate rose petal notes. This full-bodied wine, with firm tannins and acidity, delivers blackberry and ripe plum flavors coupled with hints of dried sage and sweet vanilla. Food Suggestions: Short ribs with mashed potatoes, bison burger (or classic hamburger), lamb moussaka.
Dry, bold...not a one note wine. One of the best Cabs around $13.
Full bodied cabernet with dark fruit flavors balanced with medium tannins
Dry, strong blackberry to start with a smokey finish. Pretty good for $12.
I took two sips and poured the bottle down the drain. Very disappointing.
