Ironstone Vineyards Symphony California Obsession 2006
Ironstone's Obsession has youthful aromas that are markedly floral. Extremely drinkable, this lusciously brilliant and fanciful wine is full of fruit flavors, and finishes crisp and clean. slightly sweet with a lot of lemon and lime zest; kind of gross
(FYI, drinking this at room temp) Nose is really vibrant and fruity. It smacks you with fruit but doesn't smell like a fruit bomb. Also a bit flowery but not too sweet. Smells similar to basic champagne. Taste is surprisingly crisp and non-fruity. I'm getting more flowers than fruit on the palate but it's definintely young at this point. Doesn't feel like its really opened up. Not shabby and seems like it'd be a great pairing with something really spicy. I'm going to try with chicken wings...
This is my favourite summer wine. Light and sweet, easy to drink, good with food or alone!
i am a picky wine drinker and i absolutely love this stuff.
I love this wine. It goes well with just about everything I serve except raspberry vinaigrette. It's a staple on my wine rack.

Ironstone's track record for this pretty dessert wine continues with the '07. It's off-dry, with residual sugar just under 2%, and polished flavors of pineapples, oranges, marzipan, honey and vanilla. High acidity adds the perfect touch of crispness.
This dessert wine has been remarkably consistent over the years at a good price. It's an off-dry sipper with crisp acidity, and finishes clean, with a taste of apricots and pineapples. The residual sugar is 2.2%.
Smells like a dessert wine, with the apricot, wildflower and honey aroma of a sweet Riesling, and drinks on the off-dry side, too. There are modest peach and apple flavors. Notable for the fresh, sharp burst of acidity.
Nase: der Blend zeigt eine unbeschreibliche Fülle an Fruchtaromen, welche sich durch die Restsüsse harmonisch verstärken
