Ironstone Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon California 2009

Winemaker's Notes:

The 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon is rich and complex, but still easily approachable. Its dark cherry and toasted oak aromas tantalize the taste buds that will savor juicy black currant, raspberry and dark cherry flavors. This luscious, well-balanced, wine has a sweet middle palate that finishes with a lovely toasty oak component. Food Pairing: Try this wine with grilled or sautéed meats, grilled marinated vegetables and maybe even some game like venison or boar.

Complex aromatic undertones of cassis, mint and eucalyptus encompass many levels of berry fruits that overlay into subtle cherry and spice. With American and French oak barrel aging, the clean finish is one of gentle herbs and vanilla, plus a full mixture of black fruits.

Farbe: Dunkles rot. Der Anteil Cabernet Franc macht den Wein voller, fruchtiger und reicher. Beim Geniessen gefallen die weichen Tannine, die Kirscharomen, Anklänge von Kräutern, Cassis, Vanille und Eukalyptus.

Dry, even and light, this slightly sweet, straightforward wine offers cassis, blueberry and toast aromas and flavors. Soft and pleasant on the palate, it tightens up just a bit on the back end, showing mild tannins. A solid bar-pour and entry-level Cab, easy to enjoy.

Complex aromatics undertones of mint and eucalyptus. Many levels of berry fruit overlay onto subtle cherry and spice. A finish that is a super soft with a full mixture of black fruits. this might be our best Cabernet Sauvignon yet.
