unoffensive red wine from California...very young and bright. could use a year in the cellar to develop some depth...not too much tannins though so don't hold onto it too long.

Nice berries on the nose. Spicy meaty in the mouth. Some tannins, nice acid. Kindof stale aftertaste (give it 5 seconds). I like this liquid.

Complex aromatic undertones of cassis, mint and eucalyptus encompass many levels of berry fruits that overlay into subtle cherry and spice. With American and French oak barrel aging, the finish is soft with a full mixture of black fruits that entitle one to a long, enjoyable finish.

Dry, even and light, this slightly sweet, straightforward wine offers cassis, blueberry and toast aromas and flavors. Soft and pleasant on the palate, it tightens up just a bit on the back end, showing mild tannins. A solid bar-pour and entry-level Cab, easy to enjoy.

Winemaker Notes - The 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon is rich and complex, but still easily approachable. Its dark cherry and toasted oak aromas tantalize the taste buds that will savor juicy black currant, raspberry and dark cherry flavors. This luscious, well-balanced, wine has a sweet middle palate that finishes with a lovely toasty oak component.
