Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Coconut Rice Sweet Potato Cheesecake

RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.

Winemaker's Notes:

The 2006 Classic Vintage Brut is a “classic” brut blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, unmistakably Green Valley of Russian River Valley and “vintage” quality in every sense of the word. All Iron Horse Sparkling Wines are disgorged to order which means this release will have been aged an average of four plus years on the yeast.

Tasting Notes:

By nose: Hazel nut and ripe red apple. By mouth: Ripe red apple, yeast and a touch of lime. Best when served with food, pair with anything spicy, salted or fried. Great with comfort food; mac and cheese, french fries, popcorn, chips and salsa, potato chips and onion dip and grilled steak.
