Innocent Bystander Pinot Gris Yarra Valley 2009
Nose: Fresh, Nashi pears, apples, apple crumble, jasmine, floral, pickled ginger. Palate: Crunchy texture with zingy, racy acidity, lime zest, Granny Smith apples, fresh celery hearts, crushed Kaffir lime leaves, honeydew and finishes with cold slate and minerals. Food: California rolls, sushi, sashimi, freshly shucked oysters, chicken salad, tomato and fresh goat’s curd bruschetta. Cheese: White mould, fresh goat’s curd.
Grassy, earthy pinot grigio. The finish is perfectly balanced, nice and crisp. I really like this wine.
light and crisp with a nice citrus finish
Very light in color, minerally nose with apricot notes, light in body, but good fruit on the palate and refreshing.
