Inman Family Pinot Noir Russian River Valley Thorn Road Vineyard 2006

Winemaker's Notes:

Tangy sour cherry, baked blueberries, fresh blackberries, savory roasted meat, sage and black tea. Nice tannins, to match the pretty fruit and high acid. Should age very well. Long tasty finish.

Established in 2000 with the planting of our organically farmed Olivet Grange Vineyard, Inman Family Wines is the result of Simon and Kathleen Inman's love of Pinot Noir and the soil that produces it. Our wines are produced exclusively with wine grapes from the Russian River Valley and made in an acid-driven, balanced style that is best enjoyed with your next meal. Our wine, although inspired by the complex yet subtle wines of Europe, are a unique expression of the Russian River Valley. We employ winemaking techniques that preserve nuance and highlight the unique qualities of our source vineyards. Harvesting fruit weeks before our neighbors and, more often than not, relying on the naturally occurring yeasts from the vineyard for fermentations. We believe making world class wine is a full circle process that relies equally on healthy soil, natural winemaking and sustainable business practices. Read less
