Sweet lemon and peach at entry, with a core of passion fruit, grilled pineapple and red apple. The flavor builds with layers of vanilla, whipped cream and brown sugar. Rich and concentrated flavors finish smooth with a hint of lingering nutmeg spice.

Its minerally component adds an attractive note of solidity to this wine s ripe appley aromas and the toasty oak backdrop brings its own extra note of interest. Full on the palate and softened by an oily glyceriny quality at entry it firms up across the palate and finds balancing acidity in the late going. Typical of Vine Cliff the wine is both rich and somewhat tight at the same time and it is sure to reward a bit of cellaring. Connoisseurs Guide.

Winemaker's Notes:

A complex array of sweet tropical fruit, lychee, pineapple and musk melon, with a hint of caramel and toast. Cinnamon, vanilla and ginger add layers or complexity and richness.
