Trader Joe's locations, this value has a deep black cherry hue with aromas of dried black cherries and plums, a little old leather and forest floor lie under focused, dark stone fruit flavors, balanced by good acidity throughout its lingering finish. Standing up to tomato based pasta and pizza. A steal at $10, if you can find it!

I had the 08. Similar to other descriptions of the 05 but a more dried fruit ( again cherry and some cran) and arid earth. I think the aging really does it some favors. Still a great value but only a decent wine.
Definitely a great Trader Joe's special. Can't beat this Chianti Classico for $10. Paired well with roasted root vegetables and kielbasa.
